This is an independent editorial guide. It holds no ownership of, agreement with, or authority over any property described, and processes no bookings of any kind.

Reader Notes

A plain account of what this guide is for, who stands behind it, and how to read the entries.

Section 01

An independent platform focused on hospitality discovery — what this site is and, plainly, what it is not

Pine Lodge is a discovery layer: a place to read about hospitality properties in Canada before you continue to an official listing. It is a guide, not a concierge desk, and not a substitute for a property’s own communications.

It is not a booking engine, a payment processor, a loyalty programme or a review marketplace. It does not invent guest quotes about named hotels, and it does not display commercial figures of any kind.

If you arrived expecting a calendar or a checkout, you are in the wrong room — and that is intentional. Discovery first; transactions elsewhere.

Section 02

Who We Are — an independent guide with no ownership of, or agreement with, any property named on it

We are an editorial project under the Pine Lodge name, operating the domain pinelodge.site. We do not own, manage or represent any of the properties described in the catalogues.

There is no commercial agreement that places a property higher on a page, and no sponsorship that buys a longer description. Placement follows the catalogue structure set for this site, nothing else.

Independence also means we accept that our descriptions may lag behind a renovation or a policy change. When that happens, the official listing remains the authority.

Section 03

What We Present — descriptive overviews of accommodation, amenities and surroundings, in a consistent structure

Each card carries one photograph, the property name exactly as supplied, its city and province, a short description built from category, star class and setting, and a single listing button.

Surroundings are treated as seriously as rooms: waterfront edges, downtown blocks, airport corridors and countryside campuses all shape how a stay feels, and the prose reflects that.

We do not expand beyond the facts given for a venue. If a pool, spa or named restaurant is not in the source data, it does not appear in our copy.

Section 04

Our Approach — clarity, structure and transparency, and why the site sends readers to official listing pages for details

Clarity means plain sentences. Structure means the same fields on every card. Transparency means saying, repeatedly, that we process no bookings and hold no availability.

Official listing pages exist to carry the moving parts — current room details, house rules, and whatever else a guest needs before committing. Sending you there is not a failure of this guide; it is the design.

Read the catalogues at your pace, then follow a listing when you are ready. Questions about the guide itself can go to [email protected]; questions about a stay must go to the property or its listing platform.
